Katelyn Bendrick

Intern

Katelyn Bendrick (she/her) recently finished her first year of law school at Elon
University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is originally from
Brentwood, Tennessee, and she graduated from Ravenwood High School. Katelyn is
interested in personal injury, product liability, and medical malpractice. At Elon, she is a
research assistant for her Tort law professor, Tammi Etheridge. She is also a part of the
Alliance of Legal Pioneers and Supporters (ALPS) which is a student organization
designed to help guide first-generation students through law school. She will graduate
from Elon in December of 2023 and has plans to take the Uniformed Bar Examination
(UBE).

Prior to attending law school, Katelyn attended Radford University in Radford,
Virginia, where she pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a
focus on Law. She graduated in three years with the honors of magna cum laude in
2021. During her time at Radford University, she continued her lacrosse career with the
university’s women’s lacrosse team. She collected many accolades including All-State
and All-Conference team awards. In addition, Katelyn worked with other athletes to draft
a Diversity and Inclusion statement for Radford Athletics.
